Reading these post is filling me with trepidation. I will downloading shortly and can't say I'm looking forward to it. I expect a rush of patches to come out in the next few days.

Ok its unpacked and installing which will take 10/15 mins watch this space
Ok well its unpacked and installed tried to run the game the game and all seems to work. This is with the MAC osx full client install and not the patch. Ive seen a few issues with the password on these forums but this to seems fixed on the full release! finally!
Based on your experience, i will be dumping the present eve and then downloading the full client install for MAC.

This file is corrupt. That's the message I got after the Mac client tried to verify. I then downloaded it again- same message. I have uninstalled the client and doing a full install.
This Fubar reminds me of the first release of Empire total war a while back. That was a right mess up too.

Some of these "Issues" that are being reported are pretty trivial in the context of things.
There are numerous players who can't even play the game post update, meanwhile, there are posts about the Jukebox not working, or a turret doesn't look right.
That's just not right inmho. fwiw, I installed the mac client again and it works fine for me. I would like to see ccp try and fix the major issues that players are having, rather than little Johnny's jukebox not sounding right.
I feel really bad for the players that can play the game right now
